COLOMBIA, Popayán, bust 2 reales, Ferdinand VII (bust of Charles IV), 1819 MF, NGC VG 8, ex-Esmeralda Collection. Restrepo-114.11; KM-70.2; Cal-903. Deep rainbow toning (particularly near rims), smooth fields but high points a little weak (should be at least Fine), minor flan-flaws and rim-lacuna (as made), scarce date. Pedigreed to the Esmeralda Collection (stated on special label, Sedwick Auction 29, lot 776).
